Sergeants Accommodation

En-suite rooms in an Edwardian village police station

Originally the village police station built in 1910, Sergeants Accommodation is located in the wonderfully warm and friendly village community of Nelson in South East Wales.  It’s the perfect location to use as a base from which to explore the stunning countryside and attractions within easy reach of the village, or for use as a comfortable and economical place to break a longer journey for those heading for the more westerly Welsh counties.

The capital and the M4 is just 20 minutes away - but drive half an hour in the opposite direction and you are in the beautiful and rugged Brecon Beacons National Park.  The village is a stones throw away from the main A470 which links Cardiff and Merthyr Tydfil.

Your hosts James and Christine have lived in the village all their lives, so you won’t be short of advice as to how best to enjoy your stay, whether offering directions to the various local sights, or advice on where to eat in the locality.

The village of Nelson offers everything you would expect from a busy local community. There are a range of shops including small supermarket, pharmacy, greengrocers and take away food outlets, as well as a selection of pubs and cafes.

James and Christine look forward to welcoming you!
